Safe Scout community rules

Share the shelf, not the people.

Community clues help another family decide what to check. Community clues expire quickly and are not an inventory guarantee.

1. Scout with an adult. A grown-up handles the account, travel, spending, and every clue your team posts.
2. Post only what you saw recently. Use the exact product, real store, rough count, shelf price, and time.
3. Keep people and private information out. No faces, names, receipts, license plates, or children. Never share employee screens or private store information.
4. Follow store rules. Use only customer-visible shelves. Never enter staff areas, use employee systems, hide items, move stock, open packages, or pressure workers.
5. Be exact and kind. Do not make up clues, harass another family, or repeatedly post misleading information.
6. Fix stale clues. Tap “Still here” or “All gone” when a shelf changes. Scout also removes clues when their short time limit ends.

Private family controls

A grown-up can report a community clue or hide every community clue from an anonymous Scout Team. The other family cannot see who reported or hid it. Store and official updates are not affected.

No private contact

Squish Scout has no direct messages, public child profiles, friend requests, or meetups. Never use a report or appeal to share a child’s information, contact details, or employee details.
